Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1) shares rose 4.33% to GBX 0.48 during the morning session on 12 February 2026, following an update on the Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in Colorado, USA. Integrated plant operations at the newly installed Pinon Canyon Plant are scheduled to commence next week, after initial gas processing and technical readiness checks completed in January 2026.

CO2 Removal and Helium Recovery on Track

The amine unit, part of the CO2 train, is now operational and removes CO2 from the inlet gas stream. Once integrated, the helium stream will pass through the Helium Recovery Unit and into tube trailers. The next steps include installation of CO2 liquefaction and load components, projected for H1 2026, supporting the plant’s ramp-up and future production expansion.

Production Expansion and Commercial Progress Drive Project Momentum

Tie-ins for the State-9 and State-16 wells into the existing gathering system have been completed and are ready for connection to the production facility.

Construction is underway for Jackson-2, including a T-section for the future Jackson-27 well. These follow-on tie-ins are designed to increase near-term production and provide a scalable framework for further infill drilling and gas processing expansion.

The Operator has secured arrangements for spot sales of helium and is progressing discussions with potential long-term helium and CO2 off-takers. This strategy aims to balance short-term sales and long-term contracts, aligning with the ramp-up of the Pinon Canyon Plant and maximizing the value of helium production over 2026.
