Kingfisher (LSE:KGF) reported total Group sales of GBP 3,252m for Q3 25/26, up +1.0% reported and -0.8% in constant currency. LFL sales increased +0.9% in the quarter, and +1.2% YTD. UK & Ireland accounted for GBP 1,685m in Q3, up +4.2% reported (+4.0% constant currency) with LFL growth of +3.0%. France contributed GBP 974m (+0.7% reported; -2.6% constant currency) with LFL -2.5%, and Poland recorded GBP 481m (+2.9% reported; -1.2% constant currency) with LFL -1.3%. Other International markets generated GBP 112m, down -33.5% reported but +10.3% on LFL basis, excluding Romania.
UK & Ireland Segment Performance
B&Q achieved Q3 sales of GBP 973m, up +3.9% reported (+3.8% constant currency), with LFL growth of +2.8%. E-commerce penetration reached 16.5%, and B&Q marketplace GMV grew +43.4%. Trade-focused sales through Tradepoint increased LFL by +3.7%.
Screwfix posted GBP 712m in Q3, up +4.5% reported (+4.4% constant currency) and +3.3% LFL growth. Six new stores opened during the quarter, and the loyalty programme continued to support market share gains.
France and Poland Segment Trends
In France, Castorama sales were GBP 500m (-0.6% reported; -3.9% constant currency) with LFL -3.4%, while Brico Dépôt delivered GBP 474m (+2.2% reported; -1.1% constant currency) and LFL -1.6%. Seasonal and big-ticket categories experienced softer demand, although e-commerce and trade penetration continued to increase.
Poland reported GBP 481m in sales, reflecting a low-single-digit market decline, with core categories showing improvement while ‘big-ticket’ and seasonal sales were affected by weather-related weakness. E-commerce and trade sales penetration were 4.5% and 28.8% respectively.
Other International Markets
Iberia recorded GBP 106m in sales (+13.4% reported; +9.8% constant currency) with LFL +9.8%, while Screwfix France and Other contributed GBP 6m (+65.5% reported; +61.0% constant currency). Overall, Other International sales excluding Romania were GBP 112m (+15.3% reported; +11.6% constant currency) with LFL +10.3%.
Category Performance
Q3 LFL by category showed core sales up +1.5%, big-ticket +1.8%, and seasonal sales -2.6%. UK & Ireland core sales rose +3.2%, big-ticket +5.9%, and seasonal -0.7%. France and Poland experienced declines in core and big-ticket categories, while Iberia and Other International posted growth across most categories.
FY25/26 Outlook
Kingfisher upgraded its full-year adjusted profit before tax guidance to GBP 540–570m, with free cash flow maintained at GBP 480–520m, reflecting the planned acquisition of a B&Q freehold property in Q4.
