Seeing Machines Limited (LSE:SEE), a developer of AI-powered operator monitoring systems, released its Key Performance Indicators for the quarter ended 30 September 2025 (Q1 FY2026). Cars equipped with the company’s Driver and Occupant Monitoring System (DMS/OMS) technology increased to 4,240,368 units, a 62% rise from Q1 FY2025, when 2,617,091 units were reported.

Quarterly Production Shows Consistent Growth
Production of DMS units reached 510,167 in Q1 FY2026, up 4% from Q4 FY2025 (488,294 units) and 26% from Q1 FY2025 (405,669 units). Despite trade tensions and tariffs impacting the automotive sector, this growth reflects a gradual increase in fitment rates ahead of the European General Safety Regulation (GSR) mandate effective July 2026.

Aftermarket Segment – Guardian Hardware
Guardian hardware sales for commercial transport fleets totaled 368 units in Q1 FY2026, down from 2,536 units in Q4 FY2025. ARR excluding Caterpillar remained at AUD 13.5m, unchanged from the previous quarter.

October 2025 sales of 1,062 Guardian units, combined with a new US order for 1,100 units and an ongoing autonomous driving contract, bring total Guardian sales for the current quarter to over 2,600 units.

Operational Notes and Outlook
DMS fitments are expected to continue rising in advance of the July 2026 European mandate. Guardian hardware sales show early signs of improvement in Q2 FY2026, supporting overall volume expectations. The company is targeting a cashflow break-even run rate by the end of the calendar year.
