Coral Products (LSE:CRU) will miss the AIM deadline for publishing its audited accounts for the year to 30 April 2026 because the audit is not finished. Trading in its shares will be suspended from 7.30am on 2 November 2026, and the company expects to publish by 30 November.
What was announced
Coral Products (LSE:CRU) plc, the AIM-quoted plastics products group, said on 30 October 2026 that it had delayed publication of its final results for the year ended 30 April 2026.
The company said the audit of its annual accounts has not been completed, so it will not be able to publish audited accounts by 31 October 2026. That is the deadline set by AIM Rule 19, which requires AIM companies to publish annual audited accounts within six months of the end of the financial year to which they relate.
As a result, trading in Coral (LSE:CRU)'s ordinary shares on AIM will be temporarily suspended from 7.30am on 2 November 2026, pending publication of the audited accounts.
Timetable
Coral (LSE:CRU) said it is working with its auditor to complete the audit and currently expects to publish the audited accounts by 30 November 2026. It said a further announcement will be made at that time. It is anticipated that trading in the shares will be restored once the accounts have been published.
The announcement does not name the auditor, explain what has held up the audit, or give any financial figures for the year. The company stated that the announcement contains inside information under the UK Market Abuse Regulation.
Background
The delay follows a period of change at the top of the company. On 24 September 2026, Coral (LSE:CRU) announced that Chief Executive Ian Hillman had left the Board with immediate effect while remaining with the company as an employee. Group Finance Director Paul Rice also left the Board but continued as Chief Financial Officer. David Low, previously Non-Executive Chairman, became Interim Executive Chairman to oversee day-to-day operations.
The same September update said first-quarter sales for the 2027 financial year were in line with budget, but that profitability was well below both budget and the prior year. The company attributed this to challenging market conditions. No figures from that update are included in the latest announcement.
For comparison, Coral published its final results for the previous financial year on 31 October 2025, the last day permitted under the AIM timetable.
Mr Low is named as the company's contact for the latest announcement. Cairn Financial Advisers LLP acts as nominated adviser and broker.
What to watch next
The key date is 30 November 2026, when Coral expects to publish its audited results and seek restoration of trading. Shareholders will be looking for the audited figures for the year to 30 April 2026, any comment on what delayed the audit, and an update on current trading after the weaker first-quarter profitability flagged in September.
Until the accounts are published, Coral's shares cannot be traded on AIM.
