Highlights

  • The inaugural RC drilling campaign at Harts Range Project is approaching completion.
  • All drilling samples will be sent to ALS Adelaide before Christmas for assay analysis.
  • Mining Lease Application for Big One Deposit is progressing, covering key copper structures.

New Frontier Minerals Ltd (LSE:NFM) has announced that the inaugural reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Harts Range Project, located 140km north-east of Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, is nearing completion. The geology team has completed drilling of all high-priority targets, aiming to provide a detailed understanding of the geology and extent of heavy rare earth mineralisation.

All drill samples will be dispatched to ALS Adelaide prior to Christmas for comprehensive assay analysis. Results and interpretations will be released to the market as they become available.

Bulk Sample Assessment and Commercial Framework
The company continues to progress its commercial framework with Metallium. A 25kg bulk sample from Harts Range is being assessed at MTM’s facility in Texas, USA. These assessments form part of the ongoing evaluation of mineralisation and processing options.

Big One Deposit – Mining Lease Application
The Mining Lease Application (MLA) for the Big One Deposit within the NWQ Copper Project in north-west Queensland is advancing. The MLA covers 240Ha and secures tenure over historical workings and surrounding mineralised structures in the Mt Isa copper belt, a region with established mines and development projects.

An initial development plan outlines potential open-cut copper mining, with Year Two operational layouts mapped in planning documents. The MLA aligns with an MOU signed with Austral Resources (ASX: AR1) to assess toll treatment and ore supply at the Mt Kelly Copper Processing Facility.

Project Outlook
The RC drilling campaign at Harts Range is proceeding on schedule and within budget, providing systematic testing of high-priority targets. Sample dispatch to ALS Adelaide will enable detailed assay analysis, expected to deliver insight into the scale and continuity of heavy rare earth mineralisation, including dysprosium and terbium.
