Key Highlights
- Exploration and infill drilling at Bolt Cutter Central returned intersections including 16m at 1.5% Li2O from 116m in hole BCRC115
- The Bolt Cutter Central pegmatite system extends over approximately 2.3km by 0.8km and remains open in most directions
- Metallurgical and infill drilling at Tabba Tabba's Hutt, Chewy and Leia pegmatites returned intersections including 25.1m at 1.2% Li2O from 56.5m
- The company held $37.2 million in cash as at 30 June 2026, with a Tabba Tabba Definitive Feasibility Study on track for delivery in H2 2026
Wildcat Resources Limited (ASX:WC8) reported results from exploration and infill drilling at its Bolt Cutter Central project, located approximately 10km west of the company's Tabba Tabba project in Western Australia's Pilbara region. Drill hole BCRC115 returned intersections of 8m at 1.5% Li2O from 89m and 16m at 1.5% Li2O from 116m, both on an estimated true width basis. Hole BCRC113 returned 18m at 1.1% Li2O from 16m, while BCRC112 returned 11m at 1.5% Li2O from 67m and 6m at 1.5% Li2O from 174m. Additional intersections included 4m at 1.6% Li2O from 104m in BCRC123 and 6m at 1.0% Li2O from 85m in BCRC116.
The company said the Bolt Cutter Central pegmatite system is a stacked system extending over an area of approximately 2.3km by 0.8km, with mineralisation remaining open in most directions. All assay results from the current drilling phase have now been finalised, with intercepts returned up-dip of the Harry pegmatites and near-surface mineralisation intercepted in previously undrilled pegmatites. The company said mineralised areas have been identified up to 1.2km from the main Harry-Hermione pegmatite swarm. Resource modelling is underway, with a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Bolt Cutter Central expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Tabba Tabba Drilling Results
At the company's Tabba Tabba project, metallurgical and infill drilling at the Hutt, Chewy and Leia pegmatites returned a series of intersections. At Hutt, hole TAMT038 returned 25.1m at 1.2% Li2O from 56.5m, and TAMT040 returned 21.4m at 0.9% Li2O from 22.6m, including 8.6m at 1.4% Li2O from 28.6m. At Chewy, TAMT036 returned 13.9m at 2.0% Li2O from 45.2m, including 7.8m at 2.3% Li2O from 45.2m. At Leia, TARC435 returned 18m at 1.3% Li2O from 69m, including 9m at 2.0% Li2O from 74m.
Tenement and Study Update
Wildcat said it has acquired the lithium, caesium and tantalum rights for tenement E45/2364, which abuts the southern boundary of its Mining leases, tripling the explorable strike length of the Tabba Tabba shear. The company said exploration targeting across this expanded area is well advanced. A Definitive Feasibility Study for Tabba Tabba remains on track for delivery in the second half of 2026.
Financial Position
The company reported $37.2 million in cash as at 30 June 2026.
Conclusion
Wildcat Resources' latest drilling results extend mineralisation at both Bolt Cutter Central and Tabba Tabba, with the company progressing toward a maiden resource estimate for Bolt Cutter Central and a Definitive Feasibility Study for Tabba Tabba, both expected before the end of 2026. The Acquisition of additional tenure adjoining the Tabba Tabba shear extends the company's exploration footprint, while cash of $37.2 million provides funding as these studies progress.
