This growth was driven by positive results across all categories in the Surgical Business Unit, although challenges in the Woundcare Business Unit partially offset the gains.
Adjusted profit before tax saw a 7.2% rise in 1H2024, reaching GBP 14.8 million (up from GBP 13.8 million in 2023), with a stable margin of 21.8%.
However, during the reported period, profit before tax declined to GBP 5.7 million, down from GBP 11.8 million in H1 2023, due to significant acquisition-related exceptional items incurred during the period.
