For the first half of fiscal 2025, underlying management and other income declined to GBP207.1 million, down 2.2% from GBP211.8 million in the same period last year, primarily reflecting lower catch-up fees of GBP5.7 million compared with GBP30.4 million in H1 FY 2024. Performance-related earnings increased slightly to GBP57.6 million, up 1.2% from GBP56.9 million in the prior-year period. Profit after tax was largely unchanged at GBP44.1 million, representing a 2.3% increase from GBP43.1 million in H1 FY 2024, as higher financing and amortisation charges were offset by operational efficiency gains and contributions from carried interest.
Business Update
On 18 July 2025, Bridgepoint reported progress in its infrastructure portfolio through ECP VI, which secured significant investor commitments amid demand for energy transition assets. The partnership with ADQ (Abu Dhabi) provides access to large-scale power and data-center projects, expanding Bridgepoint’s exposure to long-duration infrastructure investments.
Outlook
The group reiterated its GBP 24 billion fundraising goal for 2026, with several active mandates spanning six funds in the second half of 2025, including BDL IV, BCO V, ECP VI, and BE VIII. Net leverage remains at 1.3x EBITDA, while the operating cash flow of 17.9 million, up 111% year-over-year, provides capacity for dividends and share repurchases.
