In the first quarter of the financial year 2025 (Q1FY25), CMCL reported a 45.7% YoY increase in revenue to USD 56.10 million, supported by higher sales volumes and a 42% rise in the average realised gold price to USD 2,896 per ounce. Gross profit grew by 94.9% YoY to USD 26.90 million, as higher gold prices more than offset increased production costs. Net profit attributable to shareholders surged by 535.7% YoY to USD 8.90 million, driven by increased revenue and a higher average realized gold price contributed to improved overall profitability.
