In the first half of the financial year 2025 (H1FY25), the company’s revenue declined by 8.0% YoY to GBP 53.00 million due to U.S.-China tariff disputes, disrupted shipments, and changes in customer ordering patterns. However, profit before tax (PBT) surged by 45.5% YoY to GBP 3.20 million, primarily driven by reduced administrative expenses during the period. Cash and cash equivalents rose by 21.6% YoY to GBP 16.30 million on the back of better working capital management and reduced short-term borrowing.

The company withdrew its FY2025 guidance due to trade policy uncertainty and shipment disruptions from increased US tariffs, despite a temporary 90-day tariff reduction. While global customer caution continues to impact sales, the Board still expects full-year profitability, though near-term trading remains uncertain.
