Goldplat’s revenue for H1FY25 stood at GBP 29.60 million compared to GBP 37.40 million in H1 FY24, reflecting a 20.9% decline. The decrease was primarily driven by the Ghanaian recovery operations, which recorded a revenue drop of approximately 30.3%. Net profit from continued operations increased to GBP 1.41 million from GBP 1.17 million, representing a 20.5% rise, supported by effective cost control and operational efficiency. The net cash balance declined to GBP 2.77 million from GBP 3.89 million, a decrease of 28.8% year on year.

On 5 August 2025, the company announced an interim dividend of 0.0878 pence per share. The dividend was issued to shareholders on 29 August 2025.

Outlook
The company plans to grow its market presence in West Africa and across the wider African region. In Ghana, the in-country doré model is expected to keep receivable cycles close to two weeks after sale, while operations in South Africa focus on adding clients in neighbouring countries to offset lower by-product visibility and maintain plant utilisation levels. During H1, capital expenditure of GBP 861k was directed towards plant capacity and on-site recovery in Ghana, with an additional GBP 250k planned for H2. The Board remains prepared to distribute surplus cash that is not required for growth initiatives or for managing specific risks.
