For the half-year ended 30 June 2025 (H1FY25), the company’s revenue reached USD 520.0 million compared to USD 391.7 million in H1FY24, representing year-on-year growth of 32.8%. Gross profit increased to USD 192.2 million from USD 143.6 million, a rise of 34.1% YoY, while profit for the period rose to USD 97.2 million from USD 51.4 million, an increase of 89.1% YoY. The company states that revenue, gross profit, and net profit all grew, with profitability increasing at a faster rate than top-line growth.
H1 results show a higher net margin of 18.7% compared with the industry median of 3.8%, and a higher EBITDA margin of 39.8% versus an industry median of 10.2%. At the same time, performance reflects a lower asset turnover ratio of 0.3 times in H1 compared with an industry median of 0.4 times, and a lower gross margin of 35.9% versus an industry median of 41.7%.

Hochschild’s guidance for the Inmaculada and San Jose mines remains unchanged, indicating ongoing production and cash flow from these flagship operations despite challenges at other assets. Management reports that a revitalised leadership team is in place with a focused strategy to address operational issues and drive recovery at the Mara Rosa asset.
