In the financial year 2024 (FY24), Informa reported revenue of GBP3,553.1 million, rising 11.4% YoY, supported by structural growth trends such as increasing demand for in-person engagement. Profit after tax grew by 8.7% YoY to GBP737.2 million in FY24, reflecting double-digit growth in adjusted operating profit.
The full-year dividend increased by 11.1% YoY to 20.00 pence per share, with a final dividend of 13.60 pence scheduled for payment on 11 July 2025, following an ex-dividend date of 29 May 2025.
Further, in FY24, INF outperformed the industry median with a higher gross margin of 65.6% vs 59.2%, and a net margin of 10.3% vs 7.1%
Recent Business Update
In the first quarter of FY25 (Q1FY25), Informa reported a 7.6% underlying group revenue increase, fueled by performances in both Live B2B Events and Academic Markets. The company has already secured over GBP 2.5 billion in revenue for 2025 through subscriptions and forward bookings, reinforcing its full-year growth outlook. Informa also continues to return value to shareholders through its ongoing GBP 200 million share buyback program.

Despite potential headwinds from the U.S. in 2025, Informa anticipates over 5% underlying revenue growth, excluding acquisitions, with total reported revenue expected to exceed GBP 4.1 billion. The B2B Events division is targeting growth of 7% or more, driven by a full-year contribution from Informa Festivals and the launch of new events such as Money 20/20 Middle East.
The newly integrated Informa TechTarget business is forecasting modest growth in a steady but cautious tech marketing environment, with a focus on integration and margin enhancement.
