Volution Group PLC (LSE: FAN) is an FTSE 250 index-listed designer and manufacturer of energy-efficient indoor air quality solutions. 

The group reported revenue of GBP 187.8 million in the first half of FY2025, compared with GBP 172.5 million in the prior year period, an increase of 8.9%. Growth included 4.0% organic expansion at constant currency and 6.6% from acquisitions, partly offset by a 1.7% foreign exchange headwind.

Adjusted operating profit was GBP 42.6 million, up 10.4% from GBP 38.6 million in the first half of FY2024, supported by product mix, procurement measures, and factory efficiency improvements. Adjusted earnings per share rose 11.7% to 15.3 pence, compared with 13.7 pence a year earlier.

Business Update

On 24 July 2025, the Group announced that its full-year results for the period ending 31 July 2025 will be released on Thursday, 9 October 2025.

Company Outlook

The company’s board expects full-year FY2025 earnings to be ahead of consensus estimates of 30.3 to 31.3 pence per share. The guidance reflects momentum from the first half, the integration of Fantech, and ongoing efficiency initiatives. UK residential activity remains an important growth driver, while export markets, which grew 21.6% at constant currency, continue to support diversification.

Management noted that Fantech is expected to deliver further synergies in the second half of FY2025. In addition, the purchase of the ClimaRad minority stake strengthens the European portfolio. With leverage at 1.5 times, the balance sheet retains capacity for additional bolt-on acquisitions.

The top ten shareholders of FAN collectively account for approximately 42.28% of the company’s total shareholding. Among them, abrdn Investment Management Limited holds the largest individual stake at around 5.15%, followed by Aegon Asset Management Ltd with approximately 5.09%.
