WINNIPEG, MB, Nov. 10, 2023 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mint is holding an event to unveil the effigy His Majesty King Charles III that will appear on the obverse of all Canadian coins and strike the first circulation coin bearing this new image. This ceremony will take place at the Mint's Winnipeg manufacturing facility on November 14, 2023. As the event takes place in a high security area of the facility, media are asked to bring one piece of photo ID. Personal protective equipment must also be worn at all times and will provided upon arrival. No high-heeled or open-toed footwear is allowed.
