On Thursday, UBS reduced its price target for MBLY to $14 from $17 previously while maintaining a Neutral rating on its shares. According to UBS, the adjustment took into account the company’s potential risks and impact from the global trade war that would likely raise vehicle manufacturing costs and lead to lower demand. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs lowered its price target for MBLY to $17 from $20 but maintained a Buy rating on the shares. Goldman said its revision reflected a broader assessment of the auto industry’s outlook and financial estimates, particularly the difficulty for the automotive sector to pass on tariff costs to the consumers amid the ongoing market challenges. Overall, MBLY ranks 8th on our list of stocks that traders heavily sold down on Thursday. While we acknowledge the potential of MBLY as an investment, our conviction lies in the belief that AI stocks hold greater promise for delivering higher returns and doing so within a shorter time frame.
