Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited (LSE:CORD), the specialist investor in operational digital assets, has reported continued momentum in the expansion of its Czech portfolio company CRA’s DAB+ digital radio network, which now hosts nine digital stations following the latest commercial additions.

Under long-term contracts with Active Radio and Londa, CRA has launched six new commercial stations on its DAB B network, which now reaches over 83% of the Czech population via 31 transmitters.

These newly added stations represent a significant listener base—over 5 million weekly listeners—and are contributing to the network reaching 73% of its operating capacity. CRA also provides FM broadcasting, but its DAB+ network offers enhanced digital sound quality and broader geographic reach.

Regional Reach and Commercial Appeal

CRA’s DAB+ system enables regionalised broadcasting, giving advertisers the ability to target local markets more effectively, a valuable feature for commercial radio providers.

The growing uptake of digital radio is reinforced by the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC), which mandates DAB+ compatibility in all new cars sold across the EU.
