DX Group Plc (LSE: DX.), a UK-based logistics and delivery company, has announced the official launch of “DX SameDay,” a new nationwide same-day courier service. This addition expands the company's portfolio of delivery solutions, which already includes parcel freight, secure courier services, two-person delivery, and logistics.

The new service operates 24/7 throughout the year and is designed to handle urgent deliveries with options ranging from ad-hoc requests to scheduled, contracted, and multi-drop services. DX SameDay will be coordinated by a central team based in Wednesfield, West Midlands, enabling consistent response times and management oversight.

DX’s existing infrastructure includes a fleet of over 2,000 vehicles—both company-owned and subcontracted through long-standing partnerships. The fleet accommodates a variety of transport needs, from small vans to larger vehicles like 7.5-ton trucks and articulated lorries, allowing flexible delivery based on consignment size and urgency.

A key feature of the new offering is real-time GPS tracking and proof of delivery (POD), enabling customers to monitor shipments as they happen. Bookings can be made via phone, email, or online at any time. The customer service team is expected to respond to all inquiries within 15 minutes.

DX SameDay enters a competitive market with only a few operators offering full nationwide coverage. The company’s move comes in response to demand from existing clients across sectors such as legal, healthcare, and manufacturing—industries where time-critical and high-value deliveries are common.

CEO Paul Ibbetson described the launch as an expansion aligned with customer expectations and DX’s long-standing service model. While avoiding bold claims, the initiative reflects the company’s focus on adapting to delivery trends and broadening its range of logistics solutions.
