Highlights

  • Trellus Health signs a 12-month contract with another major global CRO.
  • Agreement targets recruitment and enrolment optimisation for late-stage immunology trials.
  • Contract structured with upfront, monthly, and milestone-linked payments.

Trellus Health plc (LSE:TRLS) has entered into a 12-month contract with a leading global clinical research organisation to deploy the Company’s Trellus TrialSet digital solution. The agreement is scheduled to begin before the end of the year and will support recruitment and enrolment efforts across two late-stage clinical studies in immunology and inflammation.

This contract represents the Company’s second engagement with a major CRO since the introduction of Trellus TrialSet earlier in the year. The program is designed to improve clinical trial participation by identifying individuals who may exhibit lower resilience and offering structured support to improve readiness for enrolment.

Focus on Trial Recruitment Metrics

The agreement incorporates an upfront fee, a monthly management fee, and milestone-based payments. Performance is tied to three key indicators: the number of eligible participants who opt into the Trellus TrialSet program, the increase in qualified participants referred for screening, and the reduction in the screen-failure rate.

This structure aligns the program’s delivery with measurable recruitment outcomes across the partnered clinical studies.

Sector Validation and Ongoing Developments

Since its launch, Trellus TrialSet has been utilised in two separate CRO agreements, underscoring the Company’s ongoing activity within the clinical trials sector. In addition to these contracts, a Patient Support Program agreement signed earlier in 2025 with Johnson & Johnson launched during the spring.

While the newly announced contract does not extend Trellus Health’s current cash runway, which remains projected until early December 2025, the Company states that these developments highlight the continued adoption of its digital solutions within pharmaceutical and research settings.

Trellus Health also confirms that it is reviewing potential equity fundraising options. Further updates are expected as appropriate.
