Empire Metals Limited (LSE: EEE)

Empire Metals Limited (LSE: EEE) is an FTSE AIM 100 listed UK-based exploration and resource development company with a portfolio that spans titanium, copper, and gold assets across Australia and Austria. Its primary focus is the Pitfield Project, situated near the town of Three Springs, approximately 313 km north of Perth in Western Australia. This Report covers the Investment Highlights, Conclusion, and Recommendation on the stock.

Key Investment Rationale – Speculative Buy at GBX 28.60

  • Inclusion in FTSE AIM 100 Index: Empire Metals Limited, a resource exploration and development company listed on AIM and OTCQX, has been added to the FTSE AIM 100 Index following FTSE Russell’s quarterly review of the FTSE AIM UK 50, FTSE AIM 100, and FTSE AIM All-Share Indices. The changes took effect after market close on 22 September 2025, marking Empire Metals’ inclusion among the top 100 companies on the AIM market.
  • Titanium Discovery: Empire Metals (AIM/OTCQX) announced a maiden JORC (2012) MRE for the Pitfield Project, Western Australia: 2.2bn t at 5.1% TiO₂, including a weathered zone of 1.26bn t at 5.2% TiO₂ and an Indicated 697mt at 5.3% TiO₂ (primarily at Thomas). Near-surface mineralisation and a 99.25% TiO₂ product from conventional processing indicate development potential, supported by low-cost strip-mining characteristics and proximity to export infrastructure.
  • Operational Highlight: Empire Metals’ maiden JORC (2012) MRE for Pitfield totals 2.2bn t at 5.1% TiO₂ (~113mt contained), including 697mt Indicated at 5.3% (~37.2mt), and 1.26bn t at 5.2% in the weathered zone (~65.6mt). The estimate covers only the Thomas and Cosgrove deposits (<20% of the known mineralised surface), with mineralisation from surface and conventional processing already yielding a 99.25% TiO₂ product; the friable weathered material (anatase/rutile) enables low-cost strip mining without blasting. At Thomas, a ~6% TiO₂ core spans ~3.6km by >2km, indicating potential feed for >30 years of initial mine life.
