Company Overview: Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is a holding company. The Company's segments include Google Services, Google Cloud, and Other Bets. The Google Services segment includes products and services such as ads, Android, Chrome, hardware, Google Maps, Google Play, Search, and YouTube. The Google Cloud segment includes infrastructure and platform services, collaboration tools, and other services for enterprise customers. The Other Bets segment includes earlier stage technologies that are further afield from its core Google business, and it includes the sale of health technology and Internet services.

As per our previous US Daily report published on ‘GOOGL’ on 16^th May 2023, Kalkine provided a ‘Buy’ stance on the stock at USD 117.56 based on “latest financial results, correction in the stock price, introduction of Bard, upside valuation and key risks associated with the business” and the stock price has now moved by ~15.35% since then and the price has crossed resistance 1 and resistance 2.

Considering the resistance around the range of USD 140 – USD 150, resistance 1 and resistance 2 attainment, current trading levels, risks associated, and volatile market conditions on the back of rising interest rates, a ‘Sell’ rating is assigned to the Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) at the closing market price of USD 135.60 (as of 20 October 2023).
