Global Fashion Group S.A. (0A5H), the operator of online fashion platforms THE ICONIC, Dafiti and ZALORA across Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and South-East Asia, published its Q3 2026 results on 5 November 2026, reporting continued profitability improvement despite falling revenues and a shrinking active customer base. Adjusted EBITDA rose to €3.4 million from €0.9 million in Q3 2025, while Gross Margin expanded to 47.0%. The Group also generated positive Normalised Free Cash Flow in a single quarter for the first time, a milestone investors are likely to monitor closely as GFG narrows its full-year guidance range.

GFG Achieves First Positive Quarterly Normalised Free Cash Flow and Narrows to €(2)m on Last-Twelve-Months Basis
GFG generated €1.2 million of Normalised Free Cash Flow in Q3 2026, compared with an outflow of €15.3 million in Q3 2025, marking the first quarter in which the Group produced positive cash flow on this measure. On a last-twelve-months basis, NFCF improved by €33 million year-over-year to €(2) million, bringing the Group close to breakeven. The improvement reflected higher Adjusted EBITDA and a €7 million working capital inflow, though the announcement notes that approximately half of that inflow related to receivables timing expected to reverse in Q4. Pro-Forma Cash stood at €93 million and Pro-Forma Net Cash at €82 million at the end of September.
ANZ Growth Contrasts with LATAM and SEA Declines as Regional Conditions Diverge Sharply
Performance varied considerably across GFG's three operating regions in Q3 2026. ANZ, which operates THE ICONIC platform, achieved NMV growth of 1.4% alongside Active Customer growth and Gross Margin expansion, delivering a positive quarter despite challenging macroeconomic conditions. LATAM, primarily serving Brazil and Colombia under the Dafiti brand, saw NMV decline 9.7% year-over-year, impacted by weakening Brazilian consumer confidence, the FIFA World Cup running until mid-July, pre-election uncertainty, and an earthquake in Colombia in mid-August. SEA, home to ZALORA, recorded a 16.6% NMV decline but delivered its highest-ever Q3 Gross Margin of 49.4%, up 4.5 percentage points, driven by reduced discounting and growing Marketplace and Platform Services revenue.
Average Order Value Rises 4.1% as GFG Prioritises Unit Economics Over Volume
Rather than defending customer or order volumes, GFG continued in Q3 2026 to prioritise profitability per transaction. Average Order Value rose 4.1% year-over-year at constant currency to €68.6, and Order Frequency increased 1.8% to 2.4 times. Total orders fell 9.2% to 3.6 million and Active Customers declined 7.2% to 6.9 million. The announcement states that higher energy prices and elevated interest rates added to cost-of-living pressures on discretionary spending across GFG's markets, which the Group identifies as a key demand headwind during the period.
Brazil Election Volatility and Q4 Trading Range Create Uncertainty Ahead of Peak Season
GFG entered Q4 2026, its largest trading quarter historically accounting for around one third of annual NMV, with what the announcement describes as a stronger proposition than the prior year, including new brand launches, faster delivery speeds, and AI-enabled personalisation. However, the company disclosed that October trading was more challenging than Q3, particularly in Brazil following the conclusion of the presidential election on 25 October. GFG also flagged ongoing uncertainty around its Brazilian DIFAL tax claim, where €40.9 million remains held in court-managed accounts across 32 cases with uncertain timing and outcomes.
